The Farm:
Big Oak Farms is located just off the Lawton Ridge Winery Trail (Red Arrow Highway) which is home to the oldest operational winery in Michigan, Saint Julian's Winery. Our working 10-acre alpaca ranch is nestled in the heart of South West Michigan wine country. We encourage you to have an upfront, close and personal experience with our alpacas. We are minutes away from Gull Lake Golf Club, in Augusta; shopping the Tanger Outlet Mall in Byron Center or minutes from some beautiful hiking or biking on the Kal-Haven Trail which takes you all the way to Lake Michigan and back.

We are passionate about the Alpaca, our herd and continuing to progress the quality of our genetics without compromising our high standards in ensuring the welfare of our herd. We are committed to breeding practices to develop alpacas with superior EPDs and histograms. Wind-a-Way Alpacas continues to contribute to the body of knowledge of the alpaca for the benefit of all owners and the industry
